re: The Auditors at the American Accounting Association

Edith Orenstein over at the FEI Blog gives a quick rundown of all the interesting panels and speeches this week at the American Accounting Association (AAA) Annual Conference in San Francisco.

I was invited to participate on Panel 7.5: “Operating an Accounting Blog,”Moderated by: Bill McCarthy, Michigan State University.  My fellow panelists are : Joe Hoyle, Teaching Financial Accounting (University of Richmond), Ed Ketz, Accounting Cycle (Penn State) and Tom Selling, The Accounting Onion.

Although I won’t be there in person – Rosie Rott complained I am not paying enough attention to her these days – in true Accounting Educators using Computers and Multimedia (AECM) listserv spirit, I will be video Skyping in with the assistance of Professor Julie Smith David.

Here are the slides I will present.

Forgive me for their density.  I was instructed to conform to their rigid academic-type standards and limit my life, I mean blogging, story to three slides.
