Compliance Week Conference June 2008
For the second year in a row, re: The Auditors took her sharp eyes, pen and stilettos to the Mayflower Hotel in Washington DC in early June for the Compliance Week 2008 Conference. More fun than usual this year because of the notoriety the hotel gained earlier this Spring from the Spitzer affair. This time I bought my own drinks at the back bar. I didn’t want anyone to get the wrong idea!
There are a number of posts from the conference including the night before at the bar, choosing my agenda, slowly, carefully and capriciously. Later in the evening a Republican pundit tried to pick me up. He had no idea…
I asked too many questions and hoped for something different in the midst of more of the same.
Special features on Scott Taub and Robert Pozen.
